GTR (Guided Tissue Regeneration)
Gums, bone, and other tissues hold teeth in place. Periodontal disease, on the other hand, can cause the bone to break down. To stimulate the formation of new bone, regenerative techniques can be employed. The height of the bone around the tooth rises as a result of this expansion. This provides extra support for the tooth. It improves the level of adhesion around the tooth’s root. Even half of the destroyed bone can be restored, extending the life of the tooth. Dr. Jamal’s Dental Care is the best dental clinic in Karachi as it provides you with all the latest facilities and also provides you with the proper guided session. Guided tissue regeneration is one sort of regenerative treatment (GTR).

GTR employs a synthetic membrane that is either resorbable or nonrecordable. Soft tissue does not develop into the gaps because of them. The membrane prevents the location from being colonized by fast-growing soft tissue cells. This allows the slower-growing bone-forming cells to take over. GTR is carried out in the following manner:

GTR (Guided Tissue Regeneration)
Gum and bone surgery. The flap surgery is used to open the gums. To eradicate all bacteria, the area beneath the gums is cleaned. The injured bone is then covered with a membrane.
Tissues are separated. The membrane offers room and time for the bone to recover and begin growing itself after it is inserted between the bone and the gum.

During the healing process, take care of yourself. You must maintain a proper oral hygiene practice on a daily basis. You must also maintain your dentist appointments on a regular basis. This will keep your gums healthy and prevent periodontitis from recurring.
Following the healing process. The stitches and membrane are either removed or disintegrate. New attachments and bone have grown to support the tooth or teeth in roughly 6 months.
